Education services for New York City schools and families.

Knowledge Road began in education, and it is where 100,000+ of our service hours have been delivered. We work to schools' mandate deadlines, answer families' questions, and keep records ready for review.

The work

The schools we serve

We serve public school districts, charter schools, private and parochial schools, and specialized educational facilities. Each has different funding, paperwork, and requirements, and each needs qualified people delivering mandated services on schedule, with documentation that holds up at review. Our coordination team has a decade of experience with each setting, from a public district's compliance calendar to a small parochial school where one coordinator handles many jobs.

We add staff capacity without adding management work for the school. We recruit, verify, and match the providers; we handle scheduling, session documentation, and progress reporting; and we stay reachable when a mandate changes mid-year or a provider needs coverage. School staff can stay focused on students.

How we serve schools

Four services for schools and families

Most schools first contact us about one unfilled mandate and add services later.

How we work with schools

What schools can expect from us

How we work with every school, based on a decade in New York City classrooms:

  1. 01

    Review unfilled mandates

When a mandate has no provider, a student is not receiving services. Tell us which service is missing and what the plan requires.

  2. 02

    Verify every provider

Every provider is verified for the specific service and background-checked before a first session.

  3. 03

    Keep the record ready

We document each session as it happens, so records are complete for annual reviews and audits.

  4. 04

    Cover the whole school year

Coordinators monitor continuity all year and fill coverage gaps before they affect families.

Common questions

Which school settings do you work in?

Public school districts, charter schools, private and parochial schools, and specialized educational facilities across New York City. Services are delivered in school, at home, or at an agreed location depending on the mandate and the family's situation, and our coordinators adapt the paperwork to each setting's requirements.

How do you keep services aligned with IEP and IDEA requirements?

Every engagement maps to the student's IEP or IESP, providers deliver at the mandated frequency and duration, sessions are documented as they happen, and progress is reported against the plan's own goals. Our team works within the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act framework daily, and consistent documentation keeps reviews straightforward.

What does a school have to manage when working with you?

We handle provider recruitment, credential verification, clearances, scheduling, session documentation, and progress reporting. The school tells us the mandates and introduces us to the building. One coordinator remains the school's single point of contact throughout.

Can families engage you directly?

Yes. Families whose children have an IEP or IESP in place work with us directly for provider matching, plan navigation, and insurance coverage guidance. When we serve a family whose school we also support, coordination happens across both relationships, with the family's consent and the student's privacy protected under FERPA.

Tell us what services are needed.

Schools and families both start the same way: tell us what the student's plan requires.
