Our ABA Therapy program uses the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to help children build communication, social, and daily living skills. We teach skills in clear steps, use positive reinforcement, and reduce behaviors that get in the way of learning—always with data to guide decisions. When ABA is authorized by a school district/DOE or delivered through New York State Early Intervention (birth–3), services are provided at no cost to eligible families. Many insurance plans also cover ABA.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a research-based approach that teaches new skills and reduces challenging behaviors by focusing on measurable change. At Knowledge Road, licensed behavior analysts (LBAs/BCBAs) design and supervise individualized plans that target communication, social interaction, and daily living abilities.
We specialize in early intervention for children ages 0–3 and also support preschool and school-aged students. Sessions are structured, goal-driven, and tailored to each child's learning profile.
Behavior affects how children participate at home, in school, and in the community. ABA therapy offers practical tools to teach needed skills and replace behaviors that limit learning. Early, targeted support helps children make meaningful, lasting progress.
ABA is a structured, data-driven approach that breaks skills into manageable steps, reinforces success, and reduces behaviors that interfere with learning. We adapt these methods for toddlers and older children to build communication, social skills, and everyday independence.
We focus on early intervention for ages 0–3 and also work with preschool- and school-aged students. Treatment intensity and goals are individualized.
We train caregivers to use strategies at home and in the community. Regular check-ins and coaching help families carry over skills between sessions.
