What we're engaged for
Three ways districts and agencies work with us
Most engagements start with a mandate that needs a qualified provider. Our coordination and documentation then keep the placement on record and ready for review.
Provider staffing for related-service mandates
This is our core service. We place credentialed related-service providers against the IEP and IESP mandates your students are entitled to: special-education teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, BCBAs, school psychologists, and licensed clinical social workers and mental health counselors (LCSW/LMHC). Every provider is verified for the service and cleared to work with children before a first session.
Coordination, documentation & compliance
Our coordinators handle scheduling, session documentation, mandate tracking, and the progress reporting that review committees and oversight bodies rely on, so your records are complete when someone asks for them.
Broader public-program capabilities
Beyond education, Knowledge Road supports public programs with specialized staffing, workforce planning, and program-operations support. We take on work within our competence and tell you when a request falls outside it.
Why Knowledge Road
How we support each placement
We place providers, and we stand behind every hour we bill and every record that gets audited. The company is organized around that work.

Operational discipline
We do what the contract says, document what we do, and stand behind every hour we bill.
Audit-ready documentation
We place qualified providers, match each one to the mandate, and follow through for the length of the engagement. We review our own delivery to the standard an auditor would.
An established provider network
300+ engaged teachers, therapists, and clinicians we have placed and coordinated before. Our placements tend to start on time and stay.
How engagement works
Four steps from first call to delivery
Public procurement has specific requirements. These are the steps from your first inquiry to a signed engagement and delivery.
Step 1
Talk to us
Tell us the mandates, the roles, or the program need, and the constraints you're working under. We respond to every inquiry within 24 hours, typically within 4–6 hours.
Step 2
Review our capabilities
We share a capability statement and, on request, the registry identifiers and documentation your procurement team needs to set us up as a vendor.
Step 3
Scope the work
We define the requirement together (the credentials, clearances, volume, and timelines) and tell you what we can fill and how fast.
Step 4
Deliver and document
Providers start against the mandate, coordinators keep the documentation audit-ready, and you have a single accountable contact throughout the engagement.
Compliance
The frameworks we work within
Our documentation and record-retention practices follow the standards public agencies set for their vendors.
IDEA
Service delivery aligned to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act: mandates, goals, and documentation.
FERPA

HIPAA
Health-related information in clinical and therapeutic services handled with HIPAA-aware safeguards.
Public procurement standards
Invoicing, reporting, and record retention built to the standards public agencies hold their vendors to.
